Role Purpose:

Working as part of the Capital Dynamics – Solutions and Product Development & Strategy (PDS) team, the Product Specialist (Analyst or Senior Analyst) will support the Private Equity business in the development and marketing of CD’s funds and product offering globally.

The Product Specialist will have the opportunity to develop a deep understanding of the Capital Dynamics’ Private Equity platforms, as well as in-depth knowledge of the broad spectrum of functions conducted within a global asset management firm. The individual will gain immediate exposure to the global Capital Dynamics team, enabling them to build their professional network and interact with colleagues across divisions and regions, while also benefiting from the brand and professionalism of this new environment.

Key Tasks and Responsibilities:

• Support fund / product launches for all Private Equity offering and related programs.

• Participate in the development of fund updates and other product collateral for the Private Equity business.

• Create compelling and high-quality marketing materials in accordance with the Firm’s highest standards for investors with the support of the respective Capital Dynamics investment teams.

• Provide accurate and timely responses to client and prospect enquiries.

• Develop a deep understanding of our private equity strategies to create and maintain standardized question responses.

• Oversee the creation of client communications, reports, and investment summaries, in close coordination with client relations and investment management teams.

• Support the production of monthly product memorandums with input from key stakeholders within the firm.

• Support ongoing fundraising processes for in-the-market-Funds.

• Manage and organize data rooms and coordinate access for existing clients, prospective clients and our internal Sales team.

• Work closely with Investment Management and Legal & Compliance teams to ensure that marketing materials are in accordance with Firm's policies and disclosure requirements.

• Collaborate closely with Legal and Compliance teams to ensure all products adhere to regulatory requirements, and that marketing materials align with the firm’s policies and disclosure standards.

Skills and attributes:

• A minimum of 12 months relevant work experience.

• Knowledge of or keen interest in the private equity market, or willingness to learn more about these sectors.

• Relevant experience and demonstrated success in a similar role in the financial industry or experience in the investment management industry is a plus.

• Understanding of basic private equity terminology (i.e. IRR, NAV, MOIC, Yield).

• Ability to meet deadlines and exhibit strong time management skills.

• Curiosity, willingness to learn and ability to think critically.

• Understanding of the needs of institutional investors is desirable.

• The ability to thrive in an environment where constructive critique is the norm.

• Experience in producing professional client presentations and/or reports.

Education and Qualifications:

• Ideally a master’s degree, preferably in business, economics, finance, mathematics or engineering.

• Exceptional proficiency MS Word, MS Power Point and MS Excel.

• Strong marketing / writing skills and attention to detail.

Language Skills:

• Must be fluent in English, German and Italian and display superior English writing skills (essential requirement).

• Additional language skills, preferably French, Spanish is highly desirable, though not essential.
