Zug, 20 December 2023 – Capital Dynamics, an independent global private asset management firm, today announced that it was awarded the highest rankings (Five Stars) by United Nations Principles for Responsible Investment (“UN PRI” or “PRI”) Transparency Assessment 2023 in all categories. Capital Dynamics scored significantly above the PRI benchmark in every category, a strong testament to its industry-leading Responsible Investment (“RI”) practices.
The annual PRI assessment evaluates signatories’ RI implementation across overall investment processes, how sophisticated their RI practices are and how these are applied in a consistent manner across all asset classes.
“Capital Dynamics has been a proud signatory to the PRI since 2008.” commented Martin Hahn, Chief Executive Officer at Capital Dynamics. “Over the past years, we have continuously built out our expertise in Responsible Investment and receiving these top marks in the 2023 assessment is a tribute to how our teams work together in advancing our RI practices.”
Each of the firm’s three business lines, Private Equity, Clean Energy and Private Credit, integrates the United Nations-supported PRI, the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (“SDGs”) and additional RI factors throughout the investment underwriting, due diligence, decision-making and post-investment monitoring processes. Moreover, the firm’s proprietary R-Eye™ Rating System is designed to review a specific set of responsible investment factors, assess sustainability risks and opportunities, and provide transparency to clients.
“For the past 15 years, Capital Dynamics has been at the forefront of Responsible Investment. Our deep commitment to RI supports us in delivering enhanced long-term risk-adjusted returns for our clients.” added Bryn Gostin, Senior Managing Director, Chief Product and Strategy Officer and Co-Chair Responsible Investment.
